Turtles do not thrive in a tank. They need outdoor enclosures.

@Limei666 Some people just want a lifetime companions, but one would have to include these in their will to someone else.
The biggest reason I hate general pet stores. The people that work there 99.99% of the time have no clue of the proper care of the animals they keep, save maybe for dogs, cats and some rodents. Exotic herps are sold to people, who in turn, have no earthly idea about them and end up being overwhelmed or the rep suffers a miserable life, gets passed on and/or dies.
Do research and prepare for a specific pet they want will ultimately get theirs from a respectable breeder or reputable source.
