i didnt have sound on but the video showed ponds and the vid title says tanks ?
wow alot of bad information in this video. you should never use bleach ever. and having aglea isn’t from having a dirty tank its from having an imbalanced water quality with too much nutirents in the water i.e. over feeding/ under bio filtration.
james dix LOL
@adamannodmini And how can you fix this? I’m not over feeding my turtles but I do have lots of aglea?
well, that sucked
he would look better with a hair cut
@GirtopolisArashiki he would look better with braces too
@Cooludeful it depends on what kind of algae you have.
if its red you need all new everything water, filter pads etc. and scrub affected areas with a brush and tap water. refill the water
if its regular old green algae you can use other plants. the cause it that either there is too much something, sun/food. the best solution is to divide and conquer. divide the sunlight using other plants the will take up surface area over the water as well as dividing up the left over nutrients in the water.
@Cooludeful or if its suspended algae you know the pea soup variety i suggest getting an UVB filter. their really expensive except for one guy on ebay. they charge about 1/4 of water everyone else does anywhere else.
@Cooludeful if you can’t use plants use a wet/dry filter. google it and you know what i mean. they’re very good at getting rid of ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite. i wouldn’t buy on though they’re very expensive as well but i would build one. i’ve build many any the work great. just google: DIY WET/DRY FILTER.
