hey guys love your website very informative.
wow i dint know that all turtles carry natural salmonella bacteria in theri digestive tracts. but i have recently read that their is a cream that cna be rubbed on baby turtles to elminate salmonella on their body. This means that the 2 inch law may be passable…but the law still stands at this point….the cream is still being researched
i have a two inch slider, but im not sure how old it is any tips?
Its a hatchling and is no older than 6 months the minimum and 1 year the oldest.
Thats a 4” law. It’s not illegal to KEEP a turtle 4” or smaller; It’s illegal to SELL them as a PET and i emphasized PET.
Finally a post about turtles that has some good facts. All facts I already knew because I actually do research before buying a pet, unlike many of the youtubers here that keep their turtles in horrible conditions. I hope they watch this video and take some of the advice!

Nice fact’s to know so many people will get hatchling turtles and think they are so cute and small till they grow then shelters and things will be over run with turtles or they will just think the rest of there lives a turtle can live in a 10g tank without a proper set-up! I really enjoyed this vid I added it to my fav and sent it to some people I know who have turtles 5*
when my terrapins get to a huge size i have had a made pond made for them out side with heating

the first turtle shown is the type i have (female) and i have a red eared slider (male) they r only about 2 onthes apart but the slider is much much smaller than the female XD
guess wat i hav 3 baby red ear sliders in a ten gallon tank with no filter n no lights
