How to Set Up a Baby Red Eared Slider Turtle Tank (Habitat 1)
Read Description: Watch in High Quality! It’s easier to read the words! For more watch my part 2 video (Habitat 2) or my red eared sliding turtle care video I know this isn’t a HUGE tank, but my turtle’s like, not even 2 years old yet, so..yeah. I’m making another video of a larger red tank, and i’ll put it up soon. Song is “Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous” By “Good Charlotte” I didn’t use gravel in this tank cuz it attracts algae quickly. You could also add an algae eating fish. they cut back on the green stuff.

wow you are better than I thought
that tank is way to small
whered you get the filter?
U should get another turtle it seems lonley
What kind of fish are those
Does the lighting you recommended consume a lot of electricty?
Does it matter what kind of fish? Can it be goldfish
@friedmushroom101 It can be any tropical freshwater fish (warm water, salt free) but, as a tip, goldfish are a great treat for turtles and they get eaten extremely quickly, so, unless you have a 2 inch turtles and 6 inch goldfish, putting them together isn’t a great idea. You’ll wake up one morning without a goldfish :L
YOUR WATER IN YOU TANK IS TO DEEP FOR A BABY RED EARED SLIDER IT NEEDS TO BE ABOUT AS DEEP AS HIS SHELL IS WIDE OR A LITTLE MORE THANKS
@friedmushroom101 goldfish are bad for your turtle due to high fat content and low protein, i’d go with bala sharks and guppies.
i use natual resorces
Well I liked it but I noticed that is is kind of dirty. Well maybe it is not dirty but without a background it stands out more
coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
You’re not supposed to use tap water unless you treat it for chlorine retard
My turtle is a baby but it’s fine without a light or a filter. And- it doesn’t have a heater either…
@Fuzzy0u0 no it isnt they need the right temperature, lighting like uvb to process food and shell growth, and uva for heat to dry completely off check up on something before you buy it and kill it
You Had A Very Basic Setup …. I Love It !
nice vid dude =D the song goes well with it
this exactly like mine
